"I've always had great experiences with this agent and their team. Even though I live a few hours away and haven't lived in Decatur in 5 years or so, I decided to stay loyal with this agent. However, today I had a unprofessional experience with Rodrigo that has caused me to look for an agent in my town (was going to anyway, I was just being a snail about it). I simply called to see why there was an increase in my insurance because life happens & I wasn't paying attention to my previous paid payment, so I just wanted clarification. He told me rates went up and I simply asked why wasn't I notified because I didn't know if I had missed an email or mail regarding it. His response was "we don't notify you of rate changes. You don't get notified when prices of Oreos goes up when going to Walmart." How can you compare increased prices of Oreos (a non-essential item) to car insurance (a essential item paid MONTHLY) increasing in price? Common sense would tell you anyone would want to know if their car insurance cost is going to increase & why. The added snide comment was both unnecessary and simply illogical/dumb. HOWEVER, with today put aside, I would still recommend this agent."
